Wormwood, as the name implies, has been used traditionally to promote intestinal cleansing. Herbalists also value bitter tonic for relieving occasional constipation and promoting healthy liver function.

Wormwood is a truly bitter tonic- its botanical name absinthium is translated ‘without sweetness’. The bitter taste, however, jump-starts healthy digestive function.

Ingredients: Wormwood 

Common use:

Promotes intestinal cleansing; bitter digestive tonic; supports healthy digestion; alleviates nausea, gas, bloating, feeling of fullness; occasional acid indigestion; promotes healthy liver function.

Suggested directions:

Pour 1 cup of boiling water over ½ to 1 teaspoonful of herb. Allow to steep approximately 3-5 minutes or to desired preference. Strain; can add honey and/or lemon to taste. <br><br>CAUTION: Not to be used during pregnancy or while nursing. Use with caution. Do not exceed recommended dose. Not recommended for long-term use.
