Menthol is cooling relief for aches, pains, and respiratory congestion. The crystals are added to pain-relieving creams, salves and liniments for their deeply penetrating effect.

To maximize breathing, add the refreshing, minty crystals to a bowl of hot water to make an aromatic inhalant.

Menthol crystals are the solid form of menthol, the principal component of Peppermint and other mint oils, hence the characteristic minty aroma. Menthol crystals are soluble in essential oils, alcohol and olive oil

Common use:

Steam inhalation (sinus; upper respiratory health); muscular aches and pains; sprains; insect bites, stings. For use in candles, incense, and essential oil blends.
