Description: Tumeric is a tropical perennial plant in the same family as ginger, native to India and cultivated throughout the tropics around the world. Many of the healing benefits of tumeric have been attributed to curcumin, a group of antioxidant compounds found in the rhizome. Tumeric as a whole herb stays in the digestive tract longer than circuit, releasing antioxidant curcumin along with other beneficial substances. Tumeric supports healthy joint mobility.
Directions of Use: Powdered Tumeric can be used for hot teas, spice for meals, tincture, poultices or in smoothies and shakes.
